Mandriva Install Fest 2007

So if you are interested in getting help installing this distribution or learning a little more about it, please join us!
The meeting will be held at The Siouxland Library Main Branch 201 North Main Avenue, PO Box 7403, Sioux Falls, SD 57117-7403. Click here for directions.

SLUG meeting/Ubuntu release party

So in celebration, the next SLUG meeting is going to be part meeting, part Ubuntu release party. You can check out the Ubuntu release party wiki or the South Dakota Ubuntu team page for more info.
UPDATE: The meeting has been moved to Colorado Tech, due to Sankofa closing earlier (3pm). Please let anyone else know that was planning on attending!
The meeting will be held in room 172, which you can find on the CTU Campus Map (pdf).

SLUG meeting at Sankofa
Submitted by phliver on August 31, 2007 - 9:07pm. meetingsFor the first time in a long while, we will be having a SLUG meeting! This will be held at the new Sankofa location in downtown Sioux Falls. There is no presentation planned for the time being, however, this will be more of an organizational meeting. If you have not done so yet, please sign up for the mailing list and submit your ideas for the meeting! Please note that Sankofa has moved from its original location from 41st St. to the 8th and Railroad Center.

IEEE Computer Society Meeting on gEDA

"In one sentence gEDA is a collection of tools that can be used to design a printed circuit board on Linux. This is an invitation to all those involved with SLUG that may be interested in these tools, or just conversing about how Linux was used to scratch this itch."

Independence Day
A lot of you have heard about net neutrality lately. If you are still a little unsure of what this is all about, I highly recommend you check out savetheinternet.com and watch their video, Independence Day.Also, don't forget to check out Humanity Lobotomy from the Four Eyed Monsters website. This one is quite a bit longer but still very good.
